Nishiki Gawa Japanese Maple Acer palmatum 'Nishiki Gawa'
This is the Pine Bark Japanese Maple. Rough, pine-like bark on the tree trunk has massive interest, and only gets better with age. Small, moderately divided leaves with usually seven lobes. Great interesting tree for small spaces and bonsai. Leaves emerge bright green, edged with light red, turning bright green in summer, and attractive yellow fall color.
