Ullung-do Island Maple
Acer pseudosieboldianum var. takesimense
Rare Maple from the Ullung-do Island in the Sea of China, this has proven to be one of the best maples for fall garden in several great gardens. Dark green summer foliage turns orange,red and yellow, and changes daily as autumn progresses. Very cold hardy, was tolerant of the rough Easter Freeze of 2007 in Western North Carolina.
