Cryptomeria japonica 'Sekkan-sugi' 
Another unusual small to mid-sized conifer, Sekkan-sugi has needles that are creamy yellow tipped in early summer. A slow grower,only making 8' x 4' in 10 years, it pairs well with purple leafed Forest Pansy Redbuds, or with blue needled conifers to wake up that blah looking corner of the full sun garden!
